REQUIREMENTS
accommodation
Pembroke School offers limited boarding options and partners with homestay organizations for international students requiring accommodation. The school’s homestay program provides a safe, supportive environment where students live with local families, fostering a sense of community and cultural exchange. Pembroke’s accommodation options are chosen carefully to support students’ well-being and to provide a stable environment conducive to academic success and personal growth.
Pembroke offers boarding accommodations for students in Years 7 to 12 within a single, well-organized boarding house, conveniently located beside the Haslam Oval sports precinct at 339 The Parade. The boarding facility is staffed around the clock to ensure safety and support for all residents. Male boarders in Years 7 to 10 stay in the Campbell Wing, while senior male students in Years 11 and 12 are accommodated in the nearby two-story DDH Wing. Female boarders from Years 7 through 12 reside in the Turner Wing.
The facility includes spacious common areas where boys and girls can relax and socialize together, though students are restricted from entering wings where they do not live. Security measures, such as alarms on certain doors, are in place each night at “Lights out” to maintain a safe environment.
Boarding staff and teachers communicate regularly with families, providing updates on each student’s progress, and tutors are available on-site to help boarders with their academic work, supporting their overall learning and development.
After Graduation
Graduates of Pembroke School have a strong record of success, with many students progressing to top universities in Australia and globally. The school’s comprehensive curriculum, combined with guidance from a dedicated career counseling team, equips students with the skills and confidence needed for higher education and future careers.
Alumni have entered diverse fields such as medicine, engineering, business, the arts, and more, often contributing to the broader community and excelling in their chosen fields. The Pembroke Alumni Network further supports graduates, offering connections, mentorship, and ongoing opportunities for professional development.
